The leaders win in Senta against a depleted home side - Senta vs. Palić (82/83)

After the derby with Bačka the crowd again left the ground disappointed. The home side took the field without four key players, Markov, Kitli, Petrović and Roganović, yet even so depleted it was a worthy opponent for the league leaders for most of the match. Palić went ahead in the 15th minute through Mrvaljević.

After the break the visitors, helped by the inexperience of the young Senta goalkeeper, made it 3:0 with two Horvath goals in five minutes. The hosts did not give up: Barna scored in the 70th minute and Farago in the 81st, setting up a tense finish, but Horvath settled the matter with his third goal in the 89th.
