The referee assaulted in Senta - Senta vs. GFK (98/99)

The hosts led 4:0 through three goals from Huszka and one from Andrusko when the match was abandoned in the 44th minute. The visitors had been fouling repeatedly, and when the referee from Subotica, Filipović, booked one of them, right-back Đorđe Rajačić ran at the official and abused him, earning a red card. Rajačić then kneed the referee in the stomach, and the official called the game off with the delegate's agreement.
