The right answer after Palić - Senta vs. Panonija (82/83)

The lads from the banks of the Tisa showed that they had not lost their confidence after the defeat in Palić. They could have settled the match in the first part alone, but took only one of four gaping chances. In the 21st minute Todorović struck the post from a Barna cross. The visitors threatened on the counter, but Sovenyhazi, playing his first league match, dealt with the danger through excellent positioning. The home pressure paid off in the 25th minute: Štrbački played the ball forward, the goalkeeper parried Kitli's first shot, but he made no mistake with the second. Panonija equalised in the 37th minute, Bogunović finding the top right corner from the corner of the box.

After the break the visitors opened up, and from a corner the ball struck the crossbar. The hosts nevertheless took complete control and in that spell shone as of old, Spasić and then Barna adding two more goals.
