The woodwork struck twice in a goalless derby in Bačka Topola - Bačka Topola vs. Senta (72/73)

The crowd saw a fast, at times high-quality and sporting match that lacked only goals. A goalless draw was a fair result: the hosts, fielding a weakened side, controlled the game, but Senta hit the woodwork twice. The match began with home attacks, but the first chance did not come until the 20th minute, when after a counter-attack Krizsan found himself face to face with the goalkeeper at the five-metre line, only for his shot to be spectacularly saved.

The hosts attacked in the second half too, but after a quick counter down the right Stanimirov's shot was kept out by the crossbar. In the 70th minute a home forward snaked through the entire Senta defence but shot over from the five-metre line. In the 75th minute Zmukić let fly unexpectedly and the ball again struck the bar, and in the 86th the goalkeeper turned Božić's cunning lobbed free kick behind with a superb reaction. Krizsan, Božić and Pinter stood out for Senta.
