Senta lost this important match in the first half. Centre-forward Kitli was injured as early as the 6th minute, which unsettled the visitors. The home side were on top and, playing with real fight, went ahead in the 14th minute when A. Puhalak scored from five or six metres. The visitors were second best. In the 33rd minute Magyar broke down the left and pulled the ball back for Puhalak to make it 2:0. Just a minute later Vidović set the final score with an unstoppable shot from seven or eight metres. Dukai had plenty to do in the first half, but was not at fault for the goals.
Senta played with a little more drive after the break and could have reduced the deficit; Kontić, for one, headed wide from close range. The hosts had two big chances as well, which the Puhalak brothers failed to take. The Bratstvo goalkeeper was never seriously tested.
