On chances the win could have been bigger, but, as in previous matches, the forwards failed to take even the clearest openings. The hosts attacked fiercely from the first whistle, though their dominance only became dangerous from the 25th minute, when a Roganović drive brushed the left post. A minute later Đurović missed a huge chance from the edge of the six-yard box. In the 29th minute Roganović made amends, dribbling past several defenders to put Senta ahead.
Until then the visitors had hardly reached the home penalty area. They opened up for a few minutes after the goal, without success, and renewed Senta attacks brought a penalty in the 43rd minute, Simendić having been fouled with a clear sight of goal. Farago's weak kick, however, was turned away for a corner by Latinović.
It was one-way traffic after the break too. Substitute Radak scored the second from a goalmouth scramble, and in the 77th minute Simendić found the net with an unstoppable shot from the corner of the box. It was a match of average quality, and referee Temulović of Subotica was up to the task.
