In a sporting match of good tempo and quality, the league leaders took valuable points in Hajdukovo. The first 45 minutes were an even contest, with the forwards creating a few ripe chances at both ends. Barat hit the post and Meszaros went through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but Markov made an excellent save.
After the break the match was decided in three minutes. In the 55th minute Agoston raced down the right and crossed, the goalkeeper could only punch out Kitli's powerful shot a short way, and Paku put the ball in from close range. Two minutes later Kitli broke into the box after a solo run and was fouled by T. Tikvicki. Farago converted the deserved penalty. The hosts threw everything forward in the closing stages but could not break through Senta's well-organised defence.
