This was rightly billed as the top match of the round, and the hosts fully deserved both points, which also took second place away from Jadran. As early as the 6th minute a fine attack created a clear chance in front of the visitors' goal, but it went begging. Counter-attacks followed at both ends, and in the 21st minute Ilić shot wide from a good position. Two minutes later came the opener: Agoston played in Đurović, who moved the ball on to Kitli, and his shot was unstoppable. Nikolić could soon have added to the lead, and further chances went unused in the 32nd minute. Before the break the visitors threatened too: in the 41st minute Cvitko spilled the ball and the defence only just cleared, and a minute later Belada missed from close range.
The pattern did not change after the interval. The hosts were on top for some twenty minutes and had several chances, the best of them in the 50th minute, but could not score. From the 65th minute the visitors took over, forced two corners in a row and created a dangerous opening in the 67th minute, but the Senta defence held firm. In the 88th minute Potpara raced down the left with the ball and found the well-placed Mazak, who scored the second with a diving header. Jadran pulled one back through Ilić in the 90th minute, after a poor back-pass, but it was only a consolation.
