Town derby: an equaliser in the last minute - Senta vs. Žitopromet (86/87)

The town derby ended in a fair draw. The crowd of some 500 went home satisfied, as both teams gave their best in a sporting match. Senta were the better side in the first part of the game and could have settled it in their favour, but from many chances they scored only once, through Đurović.

In the second half Birkas, Senta's best defender, was injured, which allowed Žitopromet to take control and create several chances, all of which they missed. In the end they did equalise, in the last minute, Rudić putting away a Feher cross.
