The visitors played a shade better and had more of the ball, and they led twice, yet Bratstvo managed to keep a point at home. Senta went ahead after a good quarter of an hour, when a corner sailed over the goalkeeper and Popović calmly put the ball in. After a Krizsan thunderbolt had struck the post, Zečević chested down a ball that reached him from a corner and equalised with an accurate shot.

More than an hour had been played when Sablatura, breaking forward, was brought down inside the area, and Krizsan converted the penalty. The hosts kept pressing and equalised not long afterwards: a Senta defender accidentally drove the ball against T. Keri's head, and it rebounded into the net. Sablatura was the best player on the pitch, and Todorović also stood out.
