Two gift goals in the first ten minutes - Senta vs. Preporod (89/90)

Senta played below their ability, the match was dreadful from start to finish, and the spectators went home disappointed. Punishing the hosts' disorganised and unimaginative play, the visitors managed with slightly better football to avenge their autumn defeat. Two bad home defensive errors and two gift goals in the first ten minutes decided the match. After those goals the home bench made two changes: the unsteady Novak was replaced in goal by Pontović, who had been playing centre-forward until then, the injured Harmat by Čočaj, and Pontović's place outfield was taken by Verba. In the 32nd minute it seemed not all was lost, when Verba pulled one back after two successive corners.

In the 38th minute the referee sent off the visitors' left-back Šipraga for unsporting behaviour, after he abused the linesman. The hosts could not make the extra man count; on the contrary, Pranjko scored the visitors' third in the 44th minute.
