Two-goal lead lost in Čoka - Proleter vs. Senta (81/82)

Seven hundred spectators turned out for what counts as a derby of the Tisa sides. Everyone expected a comfortable Senta win, and that was how it looked. In the first half the visitors threatened several times, and Rozsa scored the first goal after a huge home defensive error: he kept his head, took the ball in a difficult position, beat two defenders and scored. A few minutes later the visitors attacked again and Ardala misjudged a low cross, lifting the ball over his own goalkeeper for 0:2.

The hosts seemed to be heading for a heavy defeat, but at half-time their coach gave his players a dressing-down and kept telling them they had every chance against the renowned Senta. The picture changed in the second half: the visitors eased off, while the hosts mounted furious attacks and sent dangerous balls into the goalmouth, where Markov was long equal to them. In the 75th minute Golić pulled one back with a superb header. Proleter kept coming, the crowd was already drifting away, and with the clock showing the 90th minute Golić beat Markov after an even better cross from the right to earn his side the point it had hoped for.
