Two goalkeeping errors spoil the spring opener - Senta vs. Obilić (90/91)

The first half was largely a matter of alternating counter-attacks and play around the two penalty areas, with few good moves or shots - each side had one real chance. It was a tactical game with plenty of fouls, the visitors' right winger Dakić leading the way: he committed seven, and referee Đukić let every one go, while showing yellow cards to Knežević and Vukadinović for much milder offences. In the 40th minute the referee also disallowed a headed goal by Đuran, ruling that Đurović, who was nowhere near the incident, had committed a foul.

Both teams played with more drive after the break, and the hosts struck first. In the 55th minute Roganović broke in from the right and deftly lifted the ball over goalkeeper Radulović. Five minutes later Surla sent the ball into the box, Vukadinović shot, goalkeeper Krstić let it slip from his hands, and Bošković rolled it into the net.

The hosts pushed for a second lead but breached the visiting defence only once or twice, and the final shot was always missing. In the 85th minute came another unexpected goal: Jakšić's shot slid under Krstić. It was a match of average quality between two evenly matched sides.
