The two teams played an excellent match. The first half was even, with few chances, and those too were missed by Peruničić and Maraš.

In the second half the hosts stepped up a gear: as early as the 47th minute Gecić scored an unstoppable goal from close range after a textbook move down the right, and in the 54th Maraš headed in a Malinović cross. After that the hosts protected their lead with composed play.
