Two goals in two minutes against Zorka - Senta vs. Zorka (82/83)

After three defeats in a row the side from the banks of the Tisa finally pulled itself together and beat Zorka, who stood above them in the table, with a spirited, attractive display. The match began with the visitors slightly on top: in the 6th minute a fierce shot missed the Senta goal by inches, and in the 16th Arokszallasi only just tipped a powerful Husić effort over the bar. After twenty minutes the hosts took over. From a corner Kitli headed wide of an empty goal, in the 37th minute goalkeeper Vojnić only just saved his header, and in the 44th Farago missed the target from the corner of the six-yard box.

The second half began with more home pressure. Nikolić first headed wide, but made no mistake the second time: Vojnić caught and then dropped a powerful shot, and the alert Nikolić was there in a flash to put the ball in. In the very next minute Kitli crossed from the right and Farago headed in to make it 2:0. After the two goals the hosts relaxed a little and the visitors took advantage: in the 73rd minute Stantić intercepted a poor pass and scored from close range. Zorka attacked for the rest of the match, but the score did not change. It was a very sporting match, excellently handled by referee Dukai.
