In front of their own crowd the side from the banks of the Tisa are still playing well below their ability. In the first half they did fight with great ambition, pinned their opponents back and created clear chances, but only two of them brought the expected result, and even Curčić's own goal in the 14th minute came from a promising situation. A minute later Bokodi scored. The visitors' defensive tactics otherwise worked well, though the side from Bačko Petrovo Selo did not create a single chance in front of the Senta goal in that time.
After the break the visitors, reinforced with two forwards, played more adventurously, which seemed to unsettle the hosts, whose level dropped. Jedinstvo took control for a while and Dević pulled one back from a goalmouth scramble in the 53rd minute. Farago then seized on a rebound, lifted it over several players and found the well-placed Kitli, who made no mistake: 3:1. Even then the visitors did not give up, and from a counter-attack and another scramble Nikola Zmukić put the ball into his own net in the 80th minute. It was a match of rather poor quality, but on chances and on their first-half display the home side still deserved to win. Referee Bognar of Palić handled the match well.
