Two Kalman goals in Hajdukovo - Vinogradar vs. Senta (77/78)

The outcome mattered to both teams, and especially to Senta, who after a draw for leaders Sever unexpectedly had the chance to join the fight for first place. Both sides therefore played openly from the start, without any tactical caution, yet in the first forty-five minutes they created only one chance each: in the 34th minute Soti hit the post, and in the 42nd the hosts shot over from close range.

The first goal came after almost an hour. The linesman flagged for offside and the home defence stopped, but Kalman ran on and found the bottom right corner. The Vinogradar players surrounded the referee, but he would not disallow the goal. The hosts had no choice but to throw everything forward, and from a counter-attack in the 74th minute Kalman headed in a Todorović cross. Vinogradar thus suffered their first defeat of the spring. Krizsan and Todorović stood out.
