Two own goals decide it in Subotica - Zorka vs. Senta (82/83)

Zorka came close to ending up without a point instead of with a comfortable, emphatic win. The young Senta side allowed the hosts many chances, which went begging partly through the forwards' wastefulness and partly thanks to fantastic saves from Markov, and in the closing stages they got on top and almost equalised. Zorka went ahead in the 37th minute, Margit converting a penalty with confidence.

The second half was a great battle. In the 47th minute Jovanović headed a cross so unluckily that he beat his own goalkeeper. The game then opened up: Senta attacked, but that exposed them to dangerous counters, on which Markov worked wonders. In the 71st minute Štrbački released Todorović, who finished cleverly. Senta sensed their chance and pushed forward, but in the 78th minute Jovanović volleyed a Margit cross into his own net once more. In the same minute substitute Roganović broke through on his own, deceived the goalkeeper and set the final score.
