The eternal Tisa derby did not live up to expectations: both teams played nervously, hastily and at times too hard. Until the 35th minute the hosts were on top but took only one of many chances, when in the 8th minute Lacko II. dribbled through the Senta defence and scored. The visitors then regrouped and mounted several dangerous attacks, and in the last minute of the half the referee awarded an overly harsh penalty, which Vrana converted.
In the second half the hosts' superiority was even more marked and the play was mostly in front of the Senta goal; chances were plentiful, but the goal was long in coming. The visitors attacked rarely but all the more dangerously. At the end the referee awarded another harsh penalty, this time to the hosts, and Bagi II. converted it. Vitković, Vrana and Vujadinović stood out for Senta.
