The small crowd saw a lively, proper league match against genuinely capable opponents. In the first 28 minutes both goals came under threat several times, with home goalkeeper Vitković making some big saves. In the 29th minute, at the end of a well-organised move, Hasanović could only be stopped by a foul level with the corner of the penalty area; Đuran converted the free kick with a low shot.
The rain grew heavier after the break and the pitch more slippery still, but the standard did not drop. In the 54th minute the midfield released substitute Todorović down the left, he sent a waist-high ball across goal, and Radak steered it in. The visitors regrouped and brought on two fresh players, which paid off in the 82nd minute: Zvicer got on the end of a cross from the right and shot low into the bottom left corner. Jadran strove in vain for an equaliser - the hosts held on with organised defending and counter-attacks.
