Victory in the Tisa derby - Senta vs. Potisje (70/71)

The large crowd saw a varied, exciting derby. Senta went ahead as early as the 7th minute through Božić, but in the first half the visitors gradually took over and had several chances. They equalised from the penalty spot in the 37th minute, after a home defender had handled.

In the second half the Kanjiža side tired and fell back, and Senta were well on top. In the 65th minute Božić, on the turn from 16 metres, restored the lead, and five minutes from the end Bajusz ran on to a free kick from the right to set the final score. Nagynemedi, Sofić and Bajusz stood out.
