Senta took this match rather lightly, since they were playing the bottom side. Even so, Sloboda very nearly went two goals up in the first quarter of an hour: goalkeeper Gyolai came out badly on two occasions, but the visiting forwards still failed to find the net. The first goal came in the 12th minute, when Krizsan headed in a corner. Four minutes later the visitors had a chance to equalise, but their forward, having rounded Gyolai, shot wide. In the 28th minute Ratković sent a cross from the left past the home goalkeeper into the net, and a minute later a visiting player's header came back off the bar.
After the turnaround Sablatura ran down the right wing, but Krizsan put his cross against the post from just two or three metres. Senta went back in front in the 50th minute: Krizsan played in Todorović, who scored from close range. After that the crowd saw mostly midfield play, and the final score did not come until the 85th minute, when Sablatura cleverly dribbled through the Sloboda defence and scored. Krizsan finished the last dangerous attack of the match, finding himself alone in front of the goalkeeper in the 87th minute but missing the target.
