Victory slips away at the very end in Pančevo - HIP vs. Senta (70/71)

Before the match Senta would have settled for a draw just to end their run of defeats. But once they felt both points in their pocket, the goal conceded at the very end was a crushing blow. For two thirds of the match the visitors controlled the play and created several chances, but they kept arriving a fraction late at the decisive moments.

After the break HIP nearly went ahead: Soti headed a goal-bound ball behind for a corner, and the Senta goalkeeper then superbly saved a close-range header. Senta had several chances after that, and in the 72nd minute Voros put them in front. The hosts equalised in the dying moments.
