Vukmirović turns it round in two minutes in Novi Žednik - Preporod vs. Senta (77/78)

The hosts went ahead as early as the 2nd minute, when Nošković headed in after a mistake in the Senta defence. That gave wings to Preporod, for whom the match mattered a great deal, having managed only two draws in the previous two rounds. In the first half the hosts had several chances to beat Gyolai, but this time he was in outstanding form.

The missed chances were punished: three minutes before the break Vukmirović equalised from close range, and in the very next minute he put his side ahead with a thunderous shot. Senta then attacked even more openly, which unsettled the home defence, though it held out until the 80th minute. Then the ball went into the hosts' own net off one of their players' hands, but the referee gave a penalty instead of the goal, and Soti converted it. Late on the hosts struck the post.
