Senta had to work hard for this win. The game began with a quick home goal: Vasin struck first time from ten metres in the 4th minute. In the 14th minute Vasin was brought down in the box, but Kronić saved Kakaš's penalty. The game then evened out, and the score stayed the same until half-time.

The visitors took control in the second half but could not find an equaliser, because Vukobrat saved three certain goals.
