Win over the Bezdan side earns promotion - Senta vs. Sport (47/48)

The first match in Bezdan ended 2:2, so the return in Senta decided the winner of the qualifying tie. In the first half both teams played in a disjointed way, Jedinstvo in particular, who had three or four clear chances early on but took only one. It was 1:1 at the break.

In the second half Jedinstvo played better and their superiority grew steadily. The Bezdan side were awarded a penalty but failed to convert it. In the 30th minute of the half Borbely headed the hosts into a 2:1 lead. The visitors tried to equalise, but the defence repelled their attacks; the game became harder and at times rough. Juhasz scored the third goal.
