Vojvodina's youth football selection has begun its summer preparations at the stadium in Senta under coach Petar Vučurević. Some twenty-five of the province's best young players are training twice a day until 20 July.
They will then make way for Yugoslavia's youth and cadet national teams, which are preparing in Senta in two stages until the end of July for tournaments in Budapest and Debrecen, under the supervision of federal coach Stevan Vilotić.
The federal coach has offered FK Senta two friendly matches against the national team in return for the use of the pitch. If the yellow-and-blues accept, the Senta public will be able to watch quality football even in the summer heat.
