Equalizer in the 91st minute against Čoka

A match against Čoka always carries a special charge - they are a club from the neighbouring municipality, and the rivalry between the two sides was felt both on the pitch and in the stands. The game was played hard and at times right on the edge, which made for a genuinely heated atmosphere in places.

What was clear across the full ninety minutes was that FK Senta were the better team. The hosts kept the ball, created chances and threatened constantly, but the problem was the familiar one - those chances were not being turned into goals. The first half therefore ended goalless, even though Senta had more than enough opportunities to take the lead.

The best of them came in the 52nd minute, when FK Senta were awarded a penalty, only for Todorović to miss from the spot. Eleven minutes later, in the 63rd, the hosts struck the woodwork and came within inches of going ahead.

Several decisions by the referee and his assistant drew loud protests from the Čoka supporters, who voiced their displeasure in words unfit for print.

Just as it looked as though the match would finish without a goal, the visitors punished the hosts' wastefulness in the 81st minute, Radovanović putting Čoka in front.

FK Senta, however, refused to give in. In the 91st minute Todorović made up for his penalty miss and set the final score at 1:1, earning the hosts a point in the derby of neighbouring municipalities.
