Victory against Palić (2012/2013)

In the first half the visitors had the better of the play, with Marko Matijašević creating three very promising chances. Once he shot over the bar, and on two other occasions Marko Živkov made fine saves. In the 40th minute Senta took the lead: Gujić was fouled around 25 meters from the visitors' goal, and Sarapa curled the resulting free kick over the wall and into the net.

In the second half Palić were again the better side, pressing forward more, and Matijašević hit the post before equalizing in the 57th minute with an excellent lob from Milić. Senta's goalkeeper Živkov was forced to rush out to stop Matijašević from reaching the ball, which he managed, but the visiting captain deceived him and chipped it over him - 1:1. Only after conceding the equalizer did Senta wake up, take control of the pitch and start creating chances again. It was Sarapa who finally found the target once more, scoring from a free kick amid a confused opposition defense - 2:1. Palić left a solid impression and clearly fought hard to grab at least a point. All in all, an enjoyable football match played in beautiful sunny spring weather.
